How we handle your data at netlinklayer.com

Last updated: 2026-09-17

What We Store

  • • Google account info (email, name, picture)
  • • OAuth tokens to read your Search Console
  • • Session data (optionally IP & browser)
  • • Your client sites, orders and delivered links
  • • Your team, invitations and share links

Sent to AI

Your Search Console pages and queries, to pick targets and write anchors. Two steps use web search, so the AI visits the sites involved.

We Don't Store

  • • Passwords
  • • Credit cards
  • • Copies of your ranking history

No Tracking

We run no analytics on this site. Cookies are used only to keep you logged in and to remember which team you are working in. Search Console access is read-only and revocable at any time.

1. What We Are

netlinklayer.com is a netlinking tool. We read your Google Search Console data to work out which of your pages deserve a backlink, prepare a monthly order, and place it on the netlinking platforms we are connected to. We don't collect analytics data ourselves. We only read what is already in your Search Console.

2. Information We Store

In our database (MongoDB), we store:

  • Your Google account information: Email, name, and profile picture (provided by Google OAuth)
  • Google OAuth tokens: Access and refresh tokens to read your Search Console data (we request "offline access" so you don't have to reconnect every time)
  • Session data: Your login sessions, including optionally your IP address and browser information for security
  • Your team: Team name, members, roles, and the email addresses you send invitations to
  • Your client sites: Domain, display name, target URLs, the writer brief, the sector and language, the linked Search Console property, and the opportunity score we compute
  • Your orders: Target pages, keywords, anchor texts, tiers or budgets, prices, and status
  • Delivered links: Publishing domain, article URL, anchor used, publication date, and the quality metrics the platform reports
  • Share links: The token, how many times it was opened, and when it was last used

We do NOT store:

  • Passwords (we only use Google OAuth)
  • Credit card information (we do not process payments at all today)
  • Copies of your analytics or ranking history

3. Third-Party Services

We use these services to operate netlinklayer.com:

  • Google OAuth & Search Console API: To authenticate you and read your Search Console data (read-only access)
  • OpenAI: To choose target pages, write anchor texts, and identify a site's sector and language (see section 4)
  • Netlinking platforms: The marketplaces we place your orders on
  • Resend: To send team invitation emails
  • Railway: Hosting provider for our database, cache, and application

Railway hosts our infrastructure, which means they have technical access to all data stored in our database and cache.

We do not run any analytics or tracking on netlinklayer.com itself.

4. AI Processing

AI is central to how the service works, so it is worth being precise about what leaves our servers.

What we send to OpenAI:

  • Your Search Console data: Page URLs, average positions, impressions, click-through rates, and the search queries each page ranks for. This is sent so the AI can pick which pages to push and write a relevant anchor for each one.
  • Your site's domain name, when we detect its sector and language on first setup
  • Candidate publishing domains, when we check that a marketplace listing really is in the language it claims

Two of those steps use web search, which means OpenAI visits the site in question to form its answer. That applies to your own domain at setup time, and to the publishing sites we consider buying from.

OpenAI may process this data according to their privacy policy. We do not send them your Google account details, your tokens, or your team information.

5. What We Send to Netlinking Platforms

To place an order, we send the platform what it needs to write and publish the article:

  • The target URL on your client's site
  • The anchor text and target keyword
  • The writer brief and the sector
  • The language and the requested publication date

We also create a project on the platform named after your client's domain. Each platform handles this data under its own terms.

6. What We Do With Your Data

We use your information only to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Read your Search Console data and score your pages
  • Prepare, place and track your orders
  • Send you account and team emails

We do not:

  • Sell your data to anyone
  • Use your Search Console data for our own purposes
  • Share your data with advertisers

7. Data Security

Your data is stored in a MongoDB database with authentication. OAuth tokens are stored as needed to read your Search Console data. While we implement security measures, please note that Google OAuth tokens are stored in our database and are necessary for the service to function.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Account, team and site data: Until you delete your account
  • Orders and delivered links: Kept as your campaign history, since the tool uses it to avoid repeating the same pages and anchors
  • Sessions: Until they expire or you log out

9. Your Rights

You can:

  • Revoke access: Disconnect netlinklayer from your Google account at any time through your Google account settings
  • Delete your account: Contact us at [email protected] and we'll delete all your data
  • Ask what we hold: Contact us at the same address

10. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (to keep you logged in) and to remember which team you are currently working in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.

11. Share Links

When you create a share link for a client, we record how many times it has been opened and when it was last used. Share links can be deleted or set to expire, and they expose only that site's links: never your prices, your other clients, or your team.

12. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email.
